Ruth is a much-beloved member of the Los Angeles non-profit community. After 14 years in the banking sector, she entered the field of arts management in 1991 as the managing director of the Lewitzky Dance Company. She served as Executive Director of the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra for nearly ten years and recently ended her tenure as Executive Director of the Colburn Foundation, where she spent over seven years. She is a nationally recognized leader in arts management and a revered mentor to other national leaders in arts and education.
